The philosophy of ‘Harmony between Man and Nature’ is the essence of the Chinese traditional culture which emphasizing the harmonious unification of man and nature. This philosophy is an important guiding philosophical ideology in the contemporary Chinese art and design field. It emphasizes the harmonious unity just like nature itself-the highest quality of art during the aesthetic process in order to pursue the harmonious aesthetic realm. This research analyses and evaluates the existing Chinese paintings etc. which are using the philosophy of‘Harmony between Man and Nature’.
