Objective： To study the antibacterial activity of Disporum cantoniense （ Lour. ） Merr.. Methods： Antibacterial activity of various extraction of Disporum cantonieuse （Lout.） Merr. were examined by using plate - punch method. Results： The acetic ether extract from roots of Disporum cantonierue （ Lout. ） Merr. was active against Bacillus subtilis and Staphylococcus aureus. Conclusion： The roots of Disporum cantoniense（ Lour. ）Merr. had a certain antibacte- rial activity.%目的：研究百尾参的抑菌活性。方法：采用平板打孔法,通过测定抑菌圈研究百尾参不同提取部位的抑菌作用。结果：百尾参乙酸乙酯萃取物对枯草芽孢杆菌和金黄色葡萄球菌有抑制作用。结论：百尾参根具有一定的抑菌活性。
