朝鲜儒者之荀子观——以性恶说批判为中心

         

摘要

关于人性论(心性论·性情论)的探究是朝鲜儒学史上的主要课题之一。对这一课题的探究引发了四端七情以及人性物性异同论之辩论,使朝鲜独特的儒学思想得到发展。在朝鲜时代,主张性恶论的荀子被视为异端思想家而受到诸多批判。但是,在针对性恶说的批判中,用具有一定整合性的理论进行的批判也不在少数。以往,朝鲜学者究竟是如何理解和批判荀子的性恶说的,关于这一部份的考察尚不十分全面。本发表探讨关于朝鲜儒者性恶说的论说,考察朝鲜性恶说理解的状况及其在思想史上的意义。%The elucidation of human mind and nature was one of the main philosophical concerns among Chostn Confucian scholars. Focused on such concerns, they unfolded in depth discussions and gave birth to 'the Four-Seven Debates' and 'the Debates on Nature of Human and Other Beings,' which has been developed as the characteristic of Chostn Confucianism. As regard with Xunzi's discourse on human nature as well, their criticism has integrated logic in the system of thoughts. Until now, it is commonly assumed that Xunzi was simply regarded as 'heretical' thinker in Chostn period, considering the firmly rooted concept of the lineage of Dao. However, there has been lack of analysis of how Chostn thinkers understood Xunzi's argument and what were their logics against it. In this paper, it will be discussed their discourse on human nature, so as to elucidate the way they understand the discourse on evilness of human nature, and consider the meaning of their criticism in the history of thoughts.
