Through a detailed analysis of amusing talk (AT )in teacher discourse of 8 key universities and an investigation on 64 teachers from 15 universities in Cantonese area,this paper is to analyze the differences in laughter-producing strategies between men and women teachers under the memetics theory by application of SPSS 2 1 .0 so as to help people better understand this particular language phenomenon and improve college Eng-lish teaching.%通过对全国8所211重点大学大学英语国家级精品课程视频的分析，对广东地区15所高校经常使用风趣言谈的64名大学英语教师进行调查，利用 SPSS21.0分析男女教师在选择制笑策略方面的差异，同时从模因论角度对差异原因进行分析，以期更好地理解这一语言现象并提升大学英语教学实效。
