从商办到国有化:试论清末民初沪杭甬铁路的发展概况

         

摘要

Shanghai - Hangzhou - Ningbo Railway connected the important economic towns in the southern part of the Yangtze River. Its emergence was closely related to the economic invasion of British imperialism. With the unyielding struggle of the people in Zhejiang Province, the construction, management and operation broke away from the control of British imperialism, and the railway became a national model of private railways. Not long after the founding of the Republic of China, this railway, which was a model imbued with painstaking efforts of the people in Zhejiang Province suffered its ultimate fate of being nationalized.%沪杭甬铁路是清末修建的一条贯通江南经济重镇间的铁路,它的诞生与英帝国主义的经济侵略意图息息相关。在江浙人民的不懈斗争之下,沪杭甬铁路的修建、管理及营运事业均摆脱了英帝国主义的控制,并成为全国商办铁路的典范。民国创立不久,这条倾注了江浙人民心血的模范铁路,却无奈遭到国有化之命运。
