Similarities can be found in the oral English weaknesses of non - English major college students despite the fact that such weaknesses may vary from person to person. This paper describes and analyzes such students＇ distinctive and representative weaknesses in two focus areas： the students＇ ability to deliver impromptu oral expression and their capacity to convey correct target meanings. This paper also explores and endeavors to explain the relevant reasons for the students＇ weaknesses.%非英语专业学生英语口语弱项存在个体差异，但也有一定的相关共性。从即兴口语能力、正确表达语意能力两个切入点描述分析了非英语专业大学生中相对突出的、具有一定代表性的的口语弱项，并探究了产生相应弱项的各项因素。
