张潮，清初著名的文学家、编刻家，一生致力于著述、编刻书籍，在当时及后世享有很高声誉。同时擅长交际，交友甚广，与各方人士往来了大量书信，这些信件大多被保存在《尺牍友声》和《尺牍偶存》两部书信集中。通过阅读这些尺牍，可以研究和总结他在编刻丛书过程中坚持的理念。%Zhang Chao, the famous writer, engraver and editor of the early Qing Dynasty, devoted his whole life to endeavoring to write, engrave and edit books. He enjoyed a high reputation at that time and later. He was very sociable and good at making friends. He communicated with them by writing tremendous corre⁃spondences, most of which were embodied in his two works, namely, Collection of Friends ’Letters and Inspira⁃tion of Friends ’Letters. By reading his works, we can study and summarize his concept which was implement⁃ed in the process of editing and engraving his works.
