Orexin (OX) is a novel neuropeptide which secreted by the hypothalamus.It could regulate feeding behavior,energy metabolism,sleep and arousal,and so on.In recent years,a good number of studies have shown that orexin can promote malignant tumor cells apoptosis,especially in colon cancer cell.In this article,we decribe the present situation about relationship of orexin and colon cancer,mainly introduce the mechanism which orexin could induce apoptosis of colon cancer cell.%食欲素(orexin)是下丘脑分泌的一种新型神经肽,具有调节摄食行为、能量代谢、睡眠与觉醒等生理作用.近年来,多项研究证实食欲素可以促进肿瘤细胞的凋亡,尤以结肠癌细胞研究较多.本文欲从食欲素与结肠癌的研究现状及促进结肠癌细胞凋亡机制方面进行阐述.
