The portrait of Meng Haoran by Wang Wei circulated in the Tang and Song dynasties is something that still causes controversy today, when it comes to the authenticity of its authorship.After a textual research from different angles, the present author concludes that such portraits can not be attributed to Meng Haoran but rather to someone else having assumed Wang Wei's name.%流传于唐宋时期的"王维画孟浩然像",现可确知者,主要有《孟浩然马上吟诗图》《孟浩然寒林霜晓吟行图》《孟浩然骑驴图》.本文对此经过多角度考察后表明,王维生前并不曾画过孟浩然像,因之,这些"孟像"的作者也就并非为王维,而是托王维之名者所为.
