The subjectivity of Chinese adjectives is stronger than that of English adjectives because these two lan -guages employ different methods to conceptualize adjectives .When the two languages express the quantity features of adjectives , they need to use the means of displaying quantity features .There are both similarities and differences in those means , on which the difference of subjectivity of Chinese adjectives and English adjectives has an impor -tant impact .%由于汉语和英语概念化形容词的方式不同，所以汉语形容词的主观性强于英语形容词的主观性。汉语和英语在表述形容词的数量特征时，采用的显量手段既存在共性，又存在差异，而汉英形容词的主观性差异对其显量手段产生重要的影响。
