书法文献是以文字记录书法信息形成的文献。除书法作品外,历代书家的著作、手稿、札记等都属于书法文献范畴。书法文字文献主要是纸质文献,但也不排除其他载体的文献。书法文字文献主要分布于经、史、子、集各类文献中,分布并不均匀,以＂子＂部和＂集＂部为多。书法文献作为一种重要的信息资源,不仅是人类文明和智慧的结晶,同时,也是知识和信息的载体。随着科技的飞速进步与发展,目前,我们已进入信息爆炸的时代。如何在庞杂的书法文献中,快速、有效、准确地检索出所需的书法文献信息,是我们必须具备的技能,是需要我们通过一些有效而特殊的途径来认识、熟悉书法文献。%Chinese calligraphic literature is a kind of literature in which the calligraphic information is recorded in characters.In addition to well-documented works of calligraphy,the writings,manuscripts,reading notes,etc.authored by ancient calligraphers all belong to the scope of calligraphic literature.The existing documents on calligraphic writings in China primarily take the form of written or printed ones,while this fact does not rule out other forms of documents.The documents on calligraphic writings in China is widely dispersed,though not evenly,in various sources or works under the purview of the traditionally assorted four categories of knowledge,namely,classics,history,philosophy,and literary works,of which a larger proportion is scattered in the category of philosophy and that of literary works.Calligraphic literature,as an important source of information,is not only the crystallization of human civilization and wisdom but also the carrier of knowledge and information.With the rapid advancement of science and technology,human beings have now entered the era of information explosion.Under such circumstances,it remains a prerequisite for modern-day people to locate and retrieve the pieces of literature that are needed in a fast,effective and accurate way given the voluminous body of calligraphic literature available.Therefore,we must avail ourselves of some special yet efficacious avenues to get ourselves acquainted,then familiar with calligraphic literature.
