Controversies have been aroused on the point of the seemingly equivalents between the Chinese term ＂龙＂ and the English term ＂dragon＂. Based on the analysis of the two terms from the perspective of cognitive frame and construal, it is discovered there is no chance for ＂龙＂ and ＂dragon＂ to be equivalent indeed, due to their lack of corresponding entity in reality and their distinctiveness in semantic frame elements. In view of this, the translator should be decided to create in terms of the respective cognitive frame and their cultural use, so as to reduce the misunderstanding to the minimal extent and promote corn- munleatlon.%“龙”与“dragon”的对译引起的争议众多，从认知框架与识解的视角对二者进行剖析，可以发现“龙”和“dragon”都缺乏实指对象与之对应，但又都有各自独特的框架语义成分，且差异巨大，这使得“龙”和“dragon”无法对等．翻译时，译者必须参照二者的认知框架和文化用途，在译法上敢于创新，以便尽量减少误解，促进交流．
