Objective To ascertain the correlation of family cohesion ,coping style and self-esteem for stable eld-erly COPD patients .Method By applying the Rosenberg self-esteem scale ,medical enquires and family cohesion ,re-sults from 352 stable elderly COPD patients were recorded and analyzed .Result The ideal cohesion ,ideal adaptation and real adaption in male patients was lower than that of in female patients (P<0 .05) ,and unsatisfactory rate of co-hesion was higher .The ideal cohesion and ideal adaptation in smoking patients was lower than that of non-smoking patients ,and unsatisfactory rate of cohesion was higher than that of non-smoking patients .Self-esteem was in posi-tive correlation with confront and in negative correlation with yield .Self-esteem was in positive correlation with ideal cohesion ,real cohesion and ideal adaptation(P<0 .05) ,and in negative correlation with unsatisfactory rate .Con-front was in positive correlation with real cohesion and real adaptation (P<0 .05) .Negative correlation with unsatis-factory rate .Faced with real intimacy ,real fitness is positively correlated with the degree of adaptation .Avoidance and intimate dissatisfaction ,adapt dissatisfaction was positively correlated ,and negatively correlated with the ideal of intimacy .Conclusion Medical workers should help stable elderly COPD patients take active coping style ,relieve stress ,improve family cohesion ,increase self-esteem level and finally improve quality of life .%目的：探讨老年稳定期慢性阻塞性肺病（Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease ，COPD）患者家庭关系、应对方式与自尊的关系。方法采用Rosenberg自尊量表、医学应对问卷及家庭亲密度适应性量表，对352例老年稳定期COPD患者进行调查。结果男性患者的理想亲密度、理想适应度及实际适应度较女性患者低（ P＜0．05），而亲密不满意度高于女性患者。吸烟患者理想亲密度、实际适应度低于非吸烟患者，而适应不满意度高于非吸烟患者。自尊与面对成正相关，与屈服成负相关。自尊与理想亲密度、实际亲密度、实际适应度呈正相关（P＜0．05），与亲密不满意度及适应不满意度呈负相关。面对与实际亲密度、实际适应度呈正相关，与适应不满意度呈负相关。屈服与亲密不满意度、适应不满意度呈正相关，与实际亲密度、实际适应度呈负相关。回避与亲密不满意度、适应不满意度呈正相关，与理想亲密度呈负相关。结论医护人员可引导老年稳定期COPD患者采取积极的应对方式，减缓压力，发挥其家庭功能，提高患者的自尊水平，改善患者的生活质量。
