隋至初唐嘉遁之风与汾阴名士王绩

         

摘要

Wang Ji was a representative of the hermit scholars in the early Tang Dynasty. The characteristic of his seclusive life changed from a personal behavior at the hermit' s own will in the Six Dynasties to the seclusion for a utilitarian purpose, representing the seclusion tendency of the hermit scholars at that time. But the reason why Wang Ji was considered as a celebrity from Fen Yin lies in the fact that the later generation would make a single choice between intended action and intended inaction. It was a result of the combination of a person's innate Confucian self-cultivation and outward drunken and wildly outrageous behavior. This feature not only was displayed in the contradictions between his serving as an official and living a seclusive life, but also played an inductive role at depth in the co-existence of gracefulness and simplicity in his creation of poems and essays. In terms of common character against personal character, and generality against specialty, his drunken and wildly outrageous behavior was entirely different from other literati. This feature has made the people of later generations know about and accept him as a "seclusion celebrity" more willingly, and also contributed to the sincere temperament and natural beauty of his poems.%王绩是初唐隐逸士人的代表。其隐逸特征已由六朝时期随性而行变为功利性的隐居,代表了当时士林隐逸的风尚。但王绩之所以被归属为汾阴名士,后人在"有为"与"无为"之间多是单向化地选择,其中的原因在于其自身的儒学内化修习与个体的纵酒放诞外行,这种特性不单凸显在"仕"与"隐"的矛盾性上,对其诗文创作中骈俪雕镂与疏野朴拙并存的特点也有深层次的诱导作用。在共性与个性、一般与特殊中,王绩纵酒放诞的特点有异于其他士人,这也使得后人更乐意以"方外名士"的特点去认识和接受王绩,也促成其诗歌呈现出性情之真的自然美感。
