Based on the data of the third to the sixth census in China, this paper analyzes the characteristics of floating population in China during 1982-2010.The floating population surge has the characteristics of the volume explosion and the significant regional differences and the increasing quality.Then it analyzes its influencing mechanism, including dynamic mechanism, incentive mechanism, operation mechanism and guarantee mechanism.Finally, it forecasts its developing trend of the floating population in future.The floating population will increase further, more high-quality talent will flow to the eastern regions, and the floating population will be increased significantly in the central region.%以我国第三次至第六次的人口普查资料为例,分析了1982-2010年我国流动人口的特征:流动人口数量激增,区域差异显著,流动人口素质提高.其影响机制包括动力机制、激励机制、运行机制和保障机制.预测了我国流动人口的发展趋势:流动人口将进一步增加,东部地区将吸引更多的高素质流动人口进入,中部地区吸收的流动人口比例将明显上升.
