Local scour is one of the major factors causing the unsafe issues of submarine pipelines .Here ,the common methods of the local scour monitoring of subsea pipelines and the harms from the local scour were analyzed ;Then ,the detection method based on acoustics approach and the implementation plans for the monitoring contents were proposed ;Through the analysis of engineering application and underwater check by divers ,it is proved that the method is easy to implement and it is efficient .%海底管线局部冲刷是影响海底管线安全运行的一个重要因素。分析了当前海底管线局部冲刷监测的常用方法和海底管线局部冲刷造成的危害；提出了基于声学的海底管线局部冲刷监测方法并针对监测内容提出了相应的实施方案；通过工程应用分析和潜水员水下探摸比较，证明了该监测方法实施方便、有效。
