Taking a continuous rigid-framed bridge to be strengthened for example ,a variety of diseases were analyzed , the strengthening design was performed as well .The results show that the externally prestressed strengthening can greatly increase the compressive stress reserve ,decrease the main tensile stress and restore the structural shape .The study can provide some references for similar strengthening projects .%以某连续刚构桥加固工程为背景，详细分析了该桥病害发生原因，并进行体外预应力加固设计，得出了连续刚构桥采用体外预应力加固能增大压应力储备、降低主拉应力，并适当恢复结构线形，为同类桥梁加固设计工程提供参考。
