近年来，美剧迅速在中国传播，对快速准确的美剧字幕汉译的需求也就越来越大。根据辜正坤教授的“翻译标准多元互补”之说，美剧台词字幕的汉译应以绝对标准（原版原音的美剧）为方向，坚持最高标准（即汉译的台词在内容和风格上尽可能与原文接近）的指导，在翻译实践中遵循各个具体标准的要求：形式严谨规范、信息完整充分、语言背景一致、适度合理归化。%Since this century , English TV series have spread throughout China and become one of the most important ways for the Chinese to learn the English language as well as learn about western cultures .Therefore, there have been increasing demands for translating the English subtitles into Chinese quickly and accurately .According to Gu Zhengkun ’ s "Plural Complementarism of Translation Standard", when translating the English TV series subtitles into Chinese , we should apply the absolute standard ( the original English TV Series ) , sustain the highest standard ( to keep the Chinese subtitles similar to the original ones in content as well as in style ) and follow the concrete standards:stringent and accurate forms;rich and complete information;coherence be-tween the language and the background;moderate and proper naturalization .
