Yiran Xingrong, who was born in Zhejiang, came to Japan in the late Ming Dynasty. He be- came a monk of Kohuku temple in Nagasaki and was promoted to the third-generation abbot. Writing letters four times,he sincerely invited Buddhist Yinyuan to Japan to spread Buddhism, published Wudengyantong and made great contributions to the development of Sino-Japanese Buddhism. After retiring,Yiran concentrated on drawing the Buddhist paintifig and had far-reaching influence on Nagasaki and Japanese art field.%浙江籍的逸然性融在明末赴日后,在长崎兴福寺出家并升任第三代住持,曾先后四次诚邀隐元禅师东渡日本,并在日本重新刊刻禅籍《五灯严统》,对中日黄檗宗的发展作出重要贡献。逸然退隐后专事佛画,在长崎乃至整个日本画坛具有深远影响。
