There are 28 university libraries opening to society in Beijing, through the analysis of these university libraries, we find out that: university libraries opening to society should be taken as a useful supplement to the construction of the public culture service system; university libraries should confirm the mode of opening to society according to their status quo; university libraries in the region having less public libraries should open to society; university libraries in the remote suburb should open to the society, university libraries with collection characteristics should open to the society.%北京地区有28所高校图书馆向社会开放，通过分析可知：高校图书馆向社会开放应作为公共文化服务体系建设的有益补充，高校图书馆应根据情况确定开放的方式，所在地区拥有公共图书馆数量较少的高校图书馆应考虑向社会开放，位于远郊区县的图书馆应考虑向社会开放，具有馆藏特色的专业院校图书馆应考虑向社会开放。
