2015年7月8-12日，“第五届图书馆学实证研究”博士生学术会议在南开大学召开，会议秉承国际性、公益性、实践性、跨学科性、草根性的宗旨，汇集来自国内外的专家学者、青年教师、图书馆员、期刊编辑、博硕士研究生，共同对实证研究中涉及的问卷调查法、实验法、扎根理论等研究方法在图书馆学领域的应用进行了深入的学习与探讨。旨在培养后学掌握图书馆学规范的实证研究方法，搭建起学科间平等的交流平台，促进图书馆学学科的整体提升和发展。%The Fifth Doctoral Academic Conference of Empirical Research of Library Science, which is an international, nonproift, grass-rooted, practical, interdisciplinary meeting, was held in Nankai University on July 8 to 12, 2015. All experts and scholars were meeting together with young teachers, librarians, editors and students, for discussing the applications of questionnaire, experiment method, grounded theory in the field of library science. The purpose is to have a better understanding of empirical research and to offer an equal communication platform, and to promote the overall improvement and development of library science disciplines.
