220 cases of pationts of mental injury were retrospectively investigat ed by the team of forensic psychiatry from the Jul of 1986 to the Jul of 2000. T he resulth indicate: there were no significant sex diffevences in 220 cases; the predominance group was found in the group of manhood (123 cases, 55%); Most of pationts were workers and farmers with lower level of education; the causes of t rauma were mainly body injuries and traffic accident (177 cases, 82%), the best time of forensic assessment is considered within one year after head trauma. It is necessary to discuss the assessment criferia of mental disorder ofter head tr auma and its correlation problemn.%华中科技大学同济医学院法医学系司法精神病学鉴定组自1986年7月至2000年7月受理精神损伤司法鉴定220例，其研究结果显示，男女比例无差异；以中青年组居多（123例，占55%）；职业以工人，农民为多见，文化程度相对较低；损伤原因以伤害和交通事故为主（1 77例，占82%）；鉴定时间以选择在1年内为佳。本文对颅脑外伤所致精神障碍的损伤程度及相关问题进行了初步分析。
