As a typical brittle material, isotropic pyrolytic graphite cutting problems is very prominent. This paper analyzed the impact of cutting speed, cutting depth, feed rate and rake angle on surface roughness by using polycrystalline diamond tool cutting experiment, The results showed that: The feed effect surface roughness more than the cutting speed and cutting depth, besides, increasing tool negative rake angle would improve the machined surface quality of isotropic pyrolytic graphite.%各向同性热解石墨作为一种典型的脆性材料,其切削加工问题非常突出,表面质量难以控制.使用PCD刀具进行切削试验,主要分析了切削速度、切削深度、进给量等切削参数以及刀具前角对加工表面粗糙度的影响. 通过对试验结果的研究分析表明:进给量对表面粗糙度的影响最大,切削速度和背吃刀量对表面粗糙度的影响较小,而增大刀具负前角有利于改善各向同性热解石墨的加工表面质量.
