The open laboratory plays an important role in cultivating the practice ability and creativity of college students. The open management of electronics and communications laboratories is hard to achieve due to the fact that there are too many class hours, difficulties in teaching and damage done easily to the equipment. In order to promote the open management of electronics and communications laboratories in universities, this paper proposes that resource sharing should be taken into consideration in buliding laboratories and laboratory management system should be adopted to improve utilization, and more attention should be paid to laboratory equipment management and active construction of virtual laboratory.
