Based on the study on the courses of material surface engineering and teaching on the introduction to material sur⁃face engineering technology, teaching practice of the plasma assisted processing techniques of functional films and the material synthesis and preparation methods graduate courses, according to the comprehensive, complex, interlaced and systematic charac⁃teristics of surface engineering disciplines, a new teaching method is proposed, i. e. teaching from the conventional methods to modern methods, from the solid fabrication methods to phase fabrication methods, from the environmental pollution type methods to environment friendly methods, from the simplex fabrication methods to complex fabrication methods, teaching by transitionary and accelerating ways step by step.%基于材料表面工程类课程的学习以及《材料表面工程导论》《功能薄膜等离子体辅助加工技术》和《材料合成与制备方法》等研究生课程的教学实践，根据表面工程学科“综合、复合、交叉、系统”的特色，提出了材料表面工程技术研究生课程讲授的新思路，即由传统制备技术到现代制备技术，由固态制备技术到气态（真空）制备技术、由污染环境型技术到环境友好型技术、由单一制备技术到复合制备技术，采用逐步过渡、逐步递进的方式进行讲授。
