Combining with the engineering example analyzed the application situation of plain soil compaction pile in big thick collapsible loess, researched the construction method of plain soil pile, through the treatment effect detection pointed out the plain soil compaction pile in elimina-tion of collapsible loess also improved the foundation bearing capacity.%结合工程实例分析了素土挤密桩在大厚度湿陷性黄土地区中的应用情况，并对素土桩的施工方法进行了研究，通过处理效果检测指出素土挤密桩在消除湿陷性黄土湿陷性的同时提高了地基承载力。
