According to the teaching characteristics of engineering surveying curriculum,from the actual needs of employing units,described the present situation,proposed the teaching improvement measures,pointed out that as the application type undergraduate colleges and universities, should upgrade the curriculum teaching contents,updated the equipments,combining with the engineering example to make teaching,in order to improve the students’professional ability and professional ability,laid good foundation for employment after graduation.%根据工程测量课程的教学特点，从用人单位的实际需要出发，阐述了目前的现状，提出了教学改进的措施，指出作为应用型本科高校，应对课程教学内容进行更新，对仪器设备进行升级，结合工程实例进行教学，以此来提升学生的专业能力和职业能力，为将来毕业后的就业打下良好的基础。
