Epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT)refers to the biological process in which cells convert from epithelial phenotype to mesenchymal phenotype by a certain procedure.EMT is important for embryonic development,wound healing,and the invasion and metastasis of carcinomas.the molecular mechanisms of EMT in the invasion and metastasis of malignant tumors have been a research fo-cus.The occurrence of EMT involves a number of mechanisms,and is related to hypoxia microenvironment,inflammatory cytokines,ex-tracellular matrix and microRNA,etc.This paper reviews the current progress in the research field of EMT,the role of EMT in invasion and metastasis of oral squamous cell carcinoma and lichen planus,and molecular mechanisms of EMT.%上皮-间充质转化(epithelial -mesenchymal transition,EMT),是上皮细胞通过特定的程序转化为间质细胞的生物学过程,EMT 在胚胎发育、创伤愈合、肿瘤的侵袭迁移等过程中起重要作用,EMT 在恶性肿瘤的侵袭迁移病理过程中的分子机制成为研究热点。EMT 的发生涉及多种机制,与低氧微环境、炎症因子、细胞外基质及 microRNA 等有关。文中综合目前研究进展,就 EMT 在口腔鳞癌和扁平苔藓侵袭转移中的作用及其分子机制作一综述。
