The lowest bidding method is a kind of bidding appraisal method prevailing in the world. It is a bidding appraisal method which can best reflect the competition principle of fairness, justice and open, so it is widely adopted to material procurement in the construction industry. However, this method has encountered a series of problems in the implementation of the lowest bidding method under the current market context of China.
