通过调查，本研究发现河南民办院校非英语专业本科生英语阅读能力不高，存在诸多问题。针对这些问题，本研究提出扩大词汇量、夯实语法基础、掌握正确阅读方法；扩大阅读量、拓宽文化背景知识和选取合适阅读材料的对策。%Through investigation, it is found that the English reading ability of non-English majors in private colleges of Henan is poor and there are many problems. In view of these problems, this study proposes some countermeasures: to enlarge vocabulary, consolidate grammar foundation, master correct reading method, expand the reading quantity, broaden the cultural background knowledge and choose suitable reading materials.
