On Feb. 8, the FAA issued a Federal Register notice inviting public commenton its intention to request Office of Management and Budget approval to renew aninformation collection on FAA’s Noise Portal, which the public uses to file aircraftnoise inquiries and complaints.The FAA Regional Administrators’ Offices and the FAA Noise Ombudsmen usethe information voluntarily reported through the FAA Noise Portal to prepare responsesto these noise complaints or inquiries.
