Captain Moin Wardak is perhaps the only airline president to report directly to the president of his country, although there are obvious dotted-line responsibilities to the Civil Aviation Ministry.rnAt exactly the designated hour, Capt Wardak greets Airways to begin an interview in which he openly responds to questions about the carrier's past and future. Although in his present capacity for only two years, the 50-year-old has served 26 years with Ariana as a line pilot, the last three years before his elevation to the presidency as chief pilot.
