Sapa Profiles from Szekesfehervar, Hungary, has placed an order with SMS Meer, Germany, for the delivery of a 32/35-MN short-stroke front-loading press. Thanks to the optimised hydraulic system, the plant offers short downtimes and a high level of productivity. Impressive features of this fully automated front-leading press include a compact, stable press frame and short cylinder strokes. Further benefits are the energy-efficient design of the hydraulic drive unit. Unnecessary drives are deactivated by means of a newly developed system. Compared with older presses Sapa thereby saves a large amount of energy.
