The 'Hicon' floater furnace manufactured by Ebner Industrieofen-bau in Leonding, Austria, featuresrntheir proven design concept for the continuous heat treatment of cold-rolled aluminium strip,dramatically improving the performance and quality achieved in conventional continuous furnaces. Floater furnace facilities have been built to process strip with a thickness between 0.3 and 6.35 mm, and a width up to 2,400 mm. Heating up times of 1 minute per mm have been achieved at set-point temperatures of 560℃ and a Δt of +0/-3℃.%Mit dem „Hicon"-Schwebeband-ofen hat die Firma Ebner Industrieofenbau aus Leonding in Österreich ihr bewährtes Konzept der Wärmebehandlung von kaltgewalzten Aluminiumbändern im kontinuierlichen Durchlaufverfahren leistungs- und qualitäts-bezogen wesentlich verbessert. Realisiert wurden Schwebebandanlagen für Banddicken von 0,3 bis 6,35 mm und Bandbreiten bis 2.400 mm. Bei Solltemperaturen von 560 ℃ und Δt +0/-3 ℃ werden Banderwärmungszeiten von 1 min/mm Banddicke erreicht.
