During the past decade Turkey has grown to become an important and promising place for producing aluminium semis such as rolled products and extrusions. Besides the country's own growing demand, its geo-strategic position offers challenging opportunities for export to nearby marketplaces in Western and Eastern Europe as well as to the Middle East.
