This exhibition results from an elaborate collaboration between three institutions (the Royal Anthropological Institute, the Photographers' Gallery, and Autograph, The Association of Black Photographers) which brings together two practices (anthropology and photography), six anthropologists (curators: Chris Pinney, Roslyn Poignant, Chris Wright; commentators: Christopher Davis, Michael Rowlands, Michael Richardson), and three photographers (Faisal Abdu' Allah, Zarina Bhimji, Dave Lewis) and also academics from the University of Westminster who created a multi-media installation for the show.
