The emergence of high-performance and multi-function electronic equipment has led to an increase in demand for sensor components. Mobile telephones and digital household electric appliances come with sensors to ensure reliability in operation, circuit and component protection, and ease of use. In automobiles, a variety of sensors are mounted to ensure comfort and safety. These developments have contributed to the expansion of the market for different types of sensors. At present, there is a big demand for temperature sensors, which are installed in many kinds of electronic equipment. There is also an increasing demand for acceleration sensors or angular speed sensors. Recently, manufacturers have developed fingerprint authentication sensors that can be installed in mobile equipment, even on cards.
