摘要

The threat of Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) is no longer exclusive to war or conflict-affected areas. In recent times, they are also used by terrorist to inflict more pronounced damage in major bustling cities throughout the world. Due to extensive usage of IEDs by rebels, terrorist and insurgents, casualties and fatalities have increased, making Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicles manufacturers to rushing to further improve their vehicles not only for rural areas but also for high density urban terrains. This action has prompted not only the world military forces but also the paramilitary on a scramble to provide their troops with better protected vehicles that can provide better all-around protection for their operations.
