Dr. Dufour received her BS and MS in Biomedical science and her PhD in Biomedical Sciences with a specialization in Neuroscience from the University Libre de Bruxelles, Belgium. Audrey completed her postdoctoral fellowship in the laboratory of Prof. Anders Bjorklund at Lund University, Sweden, where she worked on identification and characterization of neural progenitors for transplantation in Parkinson's disease. She specialized in the expansion of dopaminergic neuron progenitors isolated from the developing brain and their differentiation into dopaminergic neurons in vitro and in vivo.
