Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. I'm Bill Walker, Director of The Research Libraries. I am pleased to welcome you to the final session of today's summit. We are a few blocks away from the lights of Broadway. Several years ago there was a show down the street called Cabaret. One of the main songs from that show was a song, "Money Makes the World Go Round." Over the past several days, we've whispered about it, we've alluded to it, and sometimes we've just thrown it out on the table: issues of understanding our costs and economies in libraries, understanding how we can create new funding partnerships, and thinking through the very complex global strategies that we need to afford global connectivity. We, as the administrators of significant institutions, need to be especially diligent to secure the funding we need to carry out our missions, our visions, and our dreams. To do this we've become very creative. We have thought entrepreneurially and we now take risks that we might not have taken several years ago.
