Les interactions symbiotiques, comme toutes les interactions durables, sont des situations privilégiées de co-évolution entre espèces. Cette co-évolution peut conduire à la spécialisation des partenaires interagissant les uns avec les autres. Si ce phénomène a été souvent mis en évidence dans des symbioses de type antagoniste (hôte-parasite), la spécialisation est beaucoup moins documentée dans les systèmes symbiotiques mutualistes. Dans cet article, les processus co-évolutifs sont discutés au sein d'une interaction invertébrés-procaryotes mettant en jeu le nématode entomopathogène Steinernema carpocapsae et l'entérobactérie Xenorhabdus nematophila.%Intimate (durable) interactions, such as symbioses, are situations that favour co-evolution. This co-evolutionary process can lead to specialization of the interacting species. Although this phenomenon has been often characterized in antagonistic symbioses (host-parasite), specialization is less well documented in mutualistic symbioses. In this paper, the co-evolutionary process is discussed in the invertebrate-procaryote interaction between the nematode Steinernema carpocapsae and the enterobacterium Xenorhabdus nematophila.
