DOES ANY OF us really know what's in the meat of your average cheeseburger? The rhetorical critic is like the "crime scene investigator" (CSI) of business messages: We look beyond what the meat appears to be and examine what constitutes it. The value of rhetorical analysis is that it makes explicit what is often implicit, which can provide business communication practitioners valuable insights for their own communication practices.
