When John Melin moved to Seattle in 1995, one of the first Washingtonian wines he tried was Waferbroolc's Melange. Melin and his wife have been fans ever since. He, of course, didn't realize that Brown & Haley would eventually partner with Waterbrook, a division of Precept Wine, to produce the company's newest star, Almond Roca Cream. The collaboration, however, doesn't surprise him. After all, they are Washington State "classics."
