On November 9th, 2006, SAC (Standardization Administration of the People's Republic of China), held "Launch Ceremony for the U.S-China Standards Platform" in Beijing. Mr.Liu Pingjun, Administrator of SAC, Mr.Buhadi, President of US National Standard Association, and Ms. Kelin, NIST, who spoke on behalf of the president of NIST, Mr.Jeffrey, separately delivered a warm address on the ceremony. In their speeches, they were highly complimentary about recent satisfactory cooperation in standardization between China and USA.
