摘要

The First Asian Lightning Protection Forum was held on October 28-29, 2003 in Beijing, China. The forum was sponsored by the China Association for Standardization and was organized by Chinese National Committee for Lightning Protection Technology Standardization, Department of Electrical Engineering Tsinghua University, China Electricity Council, Zhongguang High-tech Industrial Development Co.,Ltd, and Lightning Protection Center of Guangdong Province. About 100 participants in the area of R&D, management and education of lightning protection technology and in the area of design, manufacturing, test of lightning protection products from China, Japan and Korea attended the forum. Mr. Su Zhongmin and Mr. Liu Shuangqiu from Standardization Administration of China made the opening remarks and closing address respectively.
