This is an excellent book in some respects and a confusing one in others. It is one of a pair of companion books, the other being Market Management and Project Business Development. Any book with over 680 references deserves attention! For this alone it is a useful reference resource. Nonetheless, despite the volume of references and a published date of 2015,1 could not find many references more recent than 2012, though there were a few. On Amazon the book is listed with a publication date of 2014 suggesting that in practice the date slipped. In the first two full pages of references, there are five in the date range 2011-2015, 15 between 2006 and 2010, five between 2001 and 2005, four between 1996 and 2000, and 16 pre-1996. The result is a work which seems to be based on an overabundance of early works, suggesting a scholarly work of reference. On the other hand this can be distracting for students who prefer to focus on more up-to-date references plus perhaps a few early ones that are essential as seminal works that need to be included in any serious monograph.
