In this double issue of Cybernetics and Human Knowing, we extend the celebration of the journal's 25th (silver) anniversary to embrace the upcoming 25th anniversary of Roy Ascott's Planetary Collegium, an international research platform that promotes the integration of art, science, technology, and consciousness research, under the rubric of technoetic arts. As his former student and this issue's guest editor I am honored to oversee this tribute to Ascott's visionary contributions to the integration of artistic practice with science and technology for the expansion of human consciousness. I explore his multifaceted achievements from the unique perspective of a cross-section of his former Planetary Collegium students, richly complemented by the images of our featured artist Josephine Coy.
