DSM's OatWel has a neutral taste profile and a long shelf life, and can be used in applications including oat milk, spoonable yogurt and drinkable yogurt. This all-natural soluble fiber harvested from Swedish oats contributes to a clean label for finished products. The ingredient brand of oat beta-glucan is carefully milled and sieved, protecting the three key parameters needed for its health benefits: concentration, solubility and molecular weight. Oat beta-glucan is clinically proven to reduce blood cholesterol levels, promote maintenance of healthy blood sugar levels and aid in digestive health, according to the company.
