Mushrooms are a common food item worldwide and somespecies are commonly consumed depending on the geographicalarea. Shiitake (Lentinula edodes), Matsutake (Tricoloma matsu-take), Maitake (Grifola frondosa), and Shimeji (Lyophyllum deca-stes, Hypsizygus ulmerius) are popular mushrooms consumed inEast Asia, including Japan, Korea, and China, and food allergycaused by these mushrooms have been reported in these regions.We herein present a rare case which is immediate type of alle-rgy due to three kinds of mushroom allergens by IgEimmunoblotting.
