Architectural design is an iterative process, having numerous parametersthat are constantly evaluated through feedback. Each architecturaldesign can most often be seen as a one-off production. There are severalapproaches to defining architectural design in the literature. According toChan (1990), architectural design is a kind of problem solving based onactions in order to solve a design problem. Simon (1969) identifies designas an ill-defined process since it creates its own problems, while Lawson(2005) characterises design problems under three main items as follows: 1)Design problems cannot be comprehensively stated, 2) Design problemsrequire subjective interpretation, and 3) Design problems tend to beorganised hierarchically
